hope you dont mind me crashing!!! the 08 shower was awesome!! i highly recommend doing it at a resturant or CH for the simple fact that if you do that you dont have to clean, cook or worry if theres enough seats/food... if you look around.. get prices for lunch time instead of only dinner you could possibly get a better price.. if you want some suggestions just let me know im more then happy to help!!

i tend to like having them at restaurnts or halls b/c of 2 things....1. space! unless your doing a really small shower sometimes space can be an issue....and 2. bathrooms! restaurants usually have multiple
but thats just me.....if its a small shower at someones house could be just as nice

i'm super close to islip, so no complaints here, but maxwells might be kinda far for city girls.
ETA: there are some good prefixe prices to be had in huntington. i could look into it.

I just went on Lessings.com and clicked on restaurants... all of the their restaurants have private party menus..... brunch, lunch, dinner, sit-down, buffet, cocktail party... etc. Unfortunately they are all in Suffolk. But they do have some great prices!

ok...so far it looks like most people want to have it out somewhere... maybe we should pick a place that is near a town or something that way we could all go out afterwards if we woudl like... does anyone have any ideas? someone said huntington and that could be cool I will look into some places there

Babylon is cute too... and easy to get to by train and car - huntington is hard to drive to sometimes

we could do the post office in babylon...they pretty much shut down the place for private parties.
no wait, TOTALLY should have it at the Bulldog in Amityville, where I grew up...I could get us a sick deal on food and open bar!

Either place sounds great. My parents house is literally around the block from the Post Office... so I like that option...
