1-800 Flowers delivered something to my house!!!!

and no it was NOT from FH. which made it the more interesting, as he was there when it arrived, and said 'Um, who the hell is sending you flowers, cause it sure was NOT me'

my wonderful officiant, Rev. Angela Heil, sent a beautiful gardenia plant to me, thanking me for sending so many referrals her way! It was the nicest gesture. I just had to share.

Of course i must pimp her out again, she is a non-denominational offiicant, and she totally does whatever YOU want for your ceremony. she's a real sweetheart and you can FM me for her details if you are interested.

Awwww Meli that is wonderful that a vendor is so grateful to you and doesn't forget you!!

I think that is such a wonderful gift at this time..and I looove gardenias!!!!

I noticed that you said she'll do whatever we want for our ceremony-- we have some things in mind, but I don't know if I'm allowed to post them b/c there are rules on this site about vulgarity-- FM me and I'll let you know-- we have been looking for someone like her!

Seriously tho, that's awesome that she did that- how nice!! I love GOOD vendors!!! YAY-- can't wait to see the ceremony she is going to do!

BTW, that reminds me- funny story about 1800 Flowers! My sister and I had planned to have tulips sent to the house for Mother's Day for my Mom. Well, they came and it was some green, potted plant... Like a bush of something I have never seen before...

So, I called and ? it with them and they told me that on busy holidays- when they run out of flowers- they send the 'closest thing'... How is the closest thing to tulips a big plant?

Well, in any event- They told me they would come get it the next day and send FLOWERS as soon as they could-- well, the plant was in the house for 24 hours until they could come-- my nephew (about 3 at the time)... happened to go near the plant while it was in the house- WELL, he went to bed that night and when he woke up the next morning his head had swelled up to the size of a BASKETBALL... he had an allergic reaction to the plant!!! hahaha... He looked like will smith in hitch!

It was the funniest thing I have ever seen!!! He's like 'good morning Grandma' and my Mom turned around and I thought she was going to DIE hahahaha!! It was CLASSIC..

That's really cool that she did that. I know that I put a couple of vendor in business and I didn't get squat diddly! I wish I hadn't booked my officiant or I would have gotten her info!
