it was good. we really didnt do anything since it was the first day of school. The real teacher passed out a bunch of stuff for the students to get signed. I took attendance, assigned lockers, passed out papers, notebooks, and folders, and prepared somethings for tomorrow. I had a good time. 8th graders are pretty fun, i think.

Thats great!! I'm actually teaching 8th grade as well! I get to start setting up my classroom on Wednesday!! I cant believe the new school year is starting already!

Glad to hear it went well. I start student teaching in January and am already nervous! Keep us updated on how it goes
