so we are torn between 2 photographers....with one of them you only get 1 photographer...but the other one we get a photographer and an asst who also takes pics
i like the idea of having the assistant there but do you think its really necessary?

Re: 1 or 2 photogs?
That was definitely one of the things I looked for. I thought it was necessary just because I didn't want anything to be missed. My photog users her assistant to capture some of the candid shots. Is there a big difference in price for the 2nd photog?

the company that includes the asst is like 1k more...i am leaning towards them bc of the asst and i just generally like them better but 1k is a significant difference.

Re: 1 or 2 photogs?
I would definitely go with your gut. I went with the more expensive photog also but I loved her and to me it was worth it, she was also about 1k more than my 2nd choice. Mine was willing to work with my budget and she threw in some extras. Maybe you can get them to do that as well?
we booked a package with mariann that we get her and an associate of hers as well, that way we can have pics of both of us getting ready.

Re: 1 or 2 photogs?
my package came with a photo-journalist and a regular photographer! i really like the idea of having 2 so they can concentrate on the more natural shots instead on the pose shots

I have two photographers. It is very important for me to see pics of FH getting ready with his guys. 1k is a big difference but u have to go with your gut feeling.

Re: 1 or 2 photogs?
I'm having two. A traditional (formal posed pics) photographer and a photojournalist (to get candids and other angles).

I like the idea of the assistant because there's less chance of them missing a photo-op.

i think an assistant is a good idea..my photographer has an assistant ((her sister)) and that just means there can be 2 people in 2 different places capturing every moment

We booked with Duet and the package came with 2 photographers which I think is awesome, it almost guarantees that nothing will be missed by one camera or the other...
