They only have one wedding at a time- are on the water, on a golf course GORGEOUS views!

i'm not sure about Villa Lombardi's but when i was there in Aug, there was only one wedding

welcom to the site, it is very helpful
congrats!!

Villa Lombardis is very nice and the foods A++
but they can have up to 3 weddings going on at a time.

As far as other places...just becareful...just cause it says One wedding at a time, doesnt mean they cant have more than one party at a time..if they have the rooms they can have a wedding, and a christening party, or sweet 16...its not a wedding so they can get away with saying one wedding at a time. Sneaky!!

We just had my son's wedding at North Ritz Club. It was great. One wedding at a time, you felt like you owned the place. They did an amazing job. Ask for Jennie. She was great!

East Wind has seperate buildings for each wedding, so you are getting the one wedding feel.

The Woodlands is also one wedding a time, but if you truly will be pushing the 200 people mark, it might be a tad 'comfy'....

Congrats!!! Check out the magazine Long Island Weddings of Distinction. It gives you a complete listing of all LI facilities, with details like how many receptions at a time, capacity, approx. price, etc. It isn't always easy to find (it's distributed by Newsday twice a year), but I've found it to be a good resource as I started on my planning journey.

ETA - My vote is for Lands End in Sayville (may be too far east?). Crescent Club is great, and you'll be the only wedding - but the restaurant is open for outside service.

Congratulations! Now the fun begins!

The Vanderbilt Mansion in Oakdale is one wedding at a time. For a formal sitdown dinner its maximum is 150, but for buffet/cocktail style I think they can accomodate more.

Welcome to the board, and congrats!!

FYI you may be the only bride but not the only event going on.
It would bother me but my friend was just married there in June and they told her she would be the only bride which translated to as the only event when in fact there was another party going on at the same time just not a wedding.

I also suggent Timber Point, and second Lands End.
