However, a second place ticket was sold in NY! $175,000.... anyone?!?!

I thought I would win.

i hope it does goe to someone who needs the money the mega millions. i know this is mean but why are people out of state allowed to play New york mega millions? it should be called nation wise mega millions than! i am happy someone won but it alway's seems they arealway's winning from out of state.

It's kind of like Conneticut's Powerball - a few states participate in that too - NY is not one of them.
