1 YEAR!!!! And question on florists

I cannot believe a year from today I am getting married!! Now I really have to pick up the planning.

I am going to see three different florists tomorrow but I have no clue what to expect. I don't even have much of an idea of what I am looking for--I'm hoping the florists can spark something in me or they will show me albums that will help me determine what I am interested in. Does anyone have any advice regarding what I should be asking, looking for, etc.

I feel the most important thing is to type in your wedding colors and the words wedding reception into google search... find tons of pics of what you like AND MORE IMPORTANTLY what you DONT like.

Bring pictures.... knowing what look you like you can then find out if its in your price range or what flowers give the same look for less

ie: Peonies are very expensive... but Garden roses have the same vibe and are a cheaper alternative :)

i agree i would try and go in with an idea...it made our process SO much easier when florists had a concrete idea of what we wanted (it doesnt have to be exact, even just a feature you like about it like its fullness, etc.).

we asked a million qs! we wanted to know roughly how many stems we got, we asked them to point to a comparable sized CP in their showrooms so we could get a more accurate idea, we made sure our guests could remove the CP to take home (usually they can), we asked about our liability re: the vases, etc. in the event they break/someone takes one LOL.
