1 year anniversary

1 year anniversary

Is anyone planning on going on vacation for their one year anniversary? If so where do you plan on going?

DH and I plan on going somewhere for our one year. I am starting to do my research now even though we are just married 2 months

We are thinking about Aruba because the weather is always good but we arent sure.

Any recommendations??

That is awesome. If we have the money we want to go to Ireland. We both have been to some amazing places together, and Ireland is the last one I have always wanted to go to. Plus, he is irish so that is most of it haha

I think Aruba would be great! I have seen pics from some of the girls on the board, and it looks AMAZING. I would also recommend bahamas. We just got back 2 weeks ago and it was so much fun. It wasn't terribly priced either. But I think that is such a great idea ;)

I've only been there once, last year FH surprised me and took me to Atlantis for 4 days and it was awesome but expensive.

we might go to san fransico or something - Dh always wanted to go there.. we might head out end of june to combine wedding/engagement/dating anniversary all rolled up into one..

yes...Not sure yet...but we are starting to plan it!

Yeah we stayed at atlantis...it wasn't too terrible, when we got there the only expenses we had was the gratuity on the meal plan, we spend about $800 the whole week for both of us, and that included ordering 3 movies, 24 hours of internet access and buying little things here and there. It was just nice....I think any place that is sunny and the water is great to swim in is a good choice lol

I was going to also suggest this. San Francisco is so amazing. I want to live in CA forever lol

Just drive along the Pacific Coast Highway and you will see why. Mountains, beautiful water, beautiful weather...what more could you ask for???

I wanted to do some sort of weekend getaway for our 1 year anniversary considering my birthday is going to be on Friday the 6th, and then our 1 year falls on Saturday, the 7th but DH's friend decided to book his wedding on our 1 year anniversary! I was so mad! I wouldn't have cared if it was our 2nd or 3rd or 4th annviersary or so on. But our 1 year - the one we'd most look forward to celebrating!!! Ugh!

So my 1 year anniversary will be spent mostly by myself because DH is in the wedding party, and I won't see him til later on at the reception.

We are going to go to Greece in September.
With the Sand Castle they give you a FREE honeymoon & since we went to Aruba for that..they said they would hold the Greece trip for one year. My Husband is Greek......it works for us.
