OK -- My mothers day dinner turned out to be a nightmare.. We went to a nice restaurant with my husband , his mom and Aidan my 10 1/2 month old. He is usually so good--- we put him in a high chair and gave him some things to munch on -- and after about 5 minutes he wanted out of the chair-- screaming and crying ... he threw a string bean at me and a dinner roll! The people next to us were heard saying ' Why don't they just take him for a ride in the car to calm him down.' Everyone was staring ! I was so embarressed! I could not even eat-- I just wanted to go home! My first Mothers DAy -- but the rest of the day was great ! My little man just wants to crawl around not sit in a stuffy place ! Who can blame him . I learned a HUGE lesson ! Next year -- we are eating at home!!! LOL

LOL Danielle !! I learned this lesson last week! My sister, my mom and I went out for our own little Mothers Day Lunch at an Italian restaurant, and took her 3 kids (Ages 4, 2, and 1 ! ) and my 7m old. Well her kids (not mine, LOL ) were whining and playing with their food, and my nieces deciding to start walking around to other tables to socialize! Then they played the 'I have to go potty' routine, just so they could take a walk and observe the restaurant... Her son was ready for a nap and at 1yr old, he also WANTED OUT of that high chair... Needless to say, we didnt enjoy much of the meal, we packed up most of the food to go... I have to say, my little guy was still pretty good through it all !
