Ok, let's talk MOH(s),

For those of you who have already picked your MOH(s), why did you choose this person (or people if you have more than one)? Do you feel they are going to be there for you whenever you need there help? Are you hav ing any regrets so far? For those of you how haven't asked anyone yet, is there a reason you are waiting?

I have two MOHs.

My Matron of Honor, Stephanie, has been my best friend since we were 6 years old. We have been through everything together (relationship woes, loss of a parent, bad fashion choices, childbrith). We kinda always knew we were desitined to be each other's MOH (I was hers last November).

My Maid of Honor, Rosemarie, has been one of my best friends for the past 8 years. She is pretty much my rock, my therapist, the one person who is just as sick in the head as I am. FI actually once said to me, 'You know your friend Roe is a little weird' and I told him 'Well you must think I am as well' and he said more so than you think .

As far as being there for me, I have no doubt that when I need help with anything or need them to go somewhere with me, both of these ladies will be there for me without fail. I have Roe to thank already for our awesome Cake Topper (see album Cakes) and since Stephanie has already had her wedding last year, she has already gone through all of this and helpe gives me little tips on how to do certain things and save $$. Definitely no regrets in choosing these girls

I met my MOH the first day of college orientation and we have been friends ever since. She was my roommate for the past two years and I don't know how I would have made it through life and law school without her and her jokes and support and her willingness to be there for whatever I have ever needed. She just moved out in Sept to start her career upstate and I'm still devastated, I miss her a lot . She's definitely been a source of light and support and love in my life for almost 7 years and she's just my best friend. That's why I chose her. She knows me pretty well, so I trust her to take care of things in a way that'll make me comfortable.

That's not to say my other friends wouldn't. I definitely expect everything from them to be a team effort, but I'm just the closest to Megan. I'm honored that she said yes.

I chose my best friend Daniella as my MOH. She is the most amazing person and I dont know what I would do without her. We have been friends since elementary school and have gone through so much together!! And although i have 3 sisters, I couldnt just choose 1 and they all understand why I chose Daniella. I know that she will be there for me no matter what happens and will support me in anything i do, unless its something completely insane lol (then she would talk some sense into me)
So no, I dont have any regrets on who i chose and im pretty sure i never will.

Hello new BOTW

Haha, I have been gone for a day and so much has happened on here!

So I have not chosen my MOH. I am thinking that I am going to ask my best friend from when I was younger and whom I still talk to and see whenever we can (she lives out of state).

Honestly, I don't have a best friend or any close girlfriends for that mattter. I grew apart from the girls I was friends with in high school and just never really made new ones.

I talk to FH all the time about how I need to make some, but I feel there is just such little opportunity being out of college. (I went to a commuter school on the island so there wasn't much interaction).

Anyway, I haven't asked her yet, but intend to. I am just hoping she will even though she is out of state. I know that is she agrees to do it, she will be nothing but helpful.

My mom and I will be doing the majority of the planning anyway since the only other members of my bridal party are my and FH's cousins who are teenagers.

She already knows she is going to be in the wedding party, but I haven't asked her to my MOH yet so I hope she says yes!

I chose my younger sister Jen to be my MOH. Not only is she absolutely awesome, she's also been my bff. Kinda happens after being couped up in the same house for 20 years. She's always there when i need a laugh and someone's shoulder to cry on. Her personality is so much like FH's it's funny. I usually tell people that most girls find hubbys that are like their dad...i found one like my favorite sister. lol.

I chose my MOH, Nicole because we've been best friends for 5 years, and she is always there to listen to my problems, but she doesn't judge. She's so creative and helpful, I know she's going to make an amazing MOH. Unfortunately we don't see each other as much as we would like because she goes to school in the city and I don't, I miss her lots.

I already asked her unofficially when we went out one night and I was super drunk, so she knows already lol. I'm going to ask her 'officially' with a card when I see her again next month

I picked my younger sister to be my MOH. We are only 20 months apart and could not picture anyone else besides her standing next to me at the atler. As far as planning me and my sister have very different personalities..i have always dreamed of my wedding since i could remember...my sister on the other hand would be happy eloping and not having to worry about anything..so as far as being involved she is EXTREMELY happy for me..but i definitely have to give her a few reminders on what i would like her to help me do..but its just her personality and i love her dearly

I chose my younger sister becaue she is the only sibling I have and she has been my best friend forever. I could never see anyone else but her as my MOH. I have no regrets because I know she is going to be the best MOH she can be. So far being the miserable single girls that she is she has been very into looking at wedding stuff.

I chose my younger sister (she's 3 years younger). Like most siblings, we didn't get along when we were much younger, but since we've both matured, she's been my best friend. It's just such a different bond between sisters and friends. I trust her with everything. I could never imagine asking anyone else! So far, she's been with me for everything I've ever needed and I will never regret my decision. I haven't officially asked her yet - its pretty much understood, but I want to do something special.

my MOH is my best friend from high school - I have 3 besties but the other 2 made my decision easy!!! They both live out of state and neither showed up to my e-party or sent a gift.... Carolina (MOH) was there every step of the way and totally helped me make sure everything was perfect! I was also one of her MOHs when she got married. She is ALWAYS there for me!! My only concern is that she is currently prego with her 1st baby (due in March) so im sure she'll be more busy having a baby but atleast he/she will be 1 and 1/2 by then!

I have one Maid of Honor and one Matron of Honor.

My Matron of Honor is my older sister Danielle. I am her MOH (she is getting married in December) and the only right thing to do would be to turn the favor. I am sure my momma in heaven would be smiling down on us knowing that we will both by eachothers sides on our special days.

My Maid of Honor is my best friend since seventh grade, Chrissy. She knows pretty much everything there is to know about me and we share the same type of heart. We both have the same sensivity and same attention to detail that is really needed to fulfill the MOH position lol. She is my partner in crime (aside from my FH)...and I couldnt be more happy with her being by my side as well. She is like my sister - just from another mister! :)

I chose my sister as my MOH. I chose her because she means the world to me and I couldn't see anyone else doing it. She takes her position very seriously and I can see her doing whatever I need her to do.

Originally I was going to have just my older sister as my MOH and have my younger sisters as one of the BM's. I had planend this because I never really got along with my younger sister, we always seemed to disagree on things and could never really find common ground. Since I have moved out and no longer live with my younger sister we have formed a much better relationship than we had. I am now thinking that I will probably have both of my sisters as my MOH's. I have already asked my older sister and will ask my younger sister next time I see her if she would like to be my second MOH.

I have two MOH's... although I haven't asked anyone yet. I wanted to invite them all out for dinner one night to formally ask them in a cute way although I haven't finalized that yet...I was thinking around X-MAS to get everyone together and write on a x-mas tree ball like will you be my bridesmaid.. I dunno prob something silly like that...

But my MOH's are my cousin who is the closest I ever got to a sister and my best friend for close to 20 years. I decided they both deserved the honor and I didn't want to feel guilty choosing.

I actually have a friend who shared the MOH duties and she hated it because she always felt like she was competing. This is making me a bit nervous of asking two but there is nothing I really can do.

I have gone back and forth with this..I was originally going to ask my oldest friend because I wasn't sure the church would allow a minor...now that it's settled my daughter (who will be 15) is going to be my MOH

She doesn't know it yet..she only wants to come to DJ appts with me..asked her to come with me to see flowers and she said 'Nope...have fun'...teenagers

I have a question though because my daughter is super shy, if she doesn't want to make a speech should we just leave it to the BM alone or ask my other friend?

My maid of honor is my sister. It was an easy choice. She's been very helpful so far, and she will be there for me no matter what.
