10 lbs

Okay, with 2 months to go, do you think it is even possible to lose 10 lbs? I've been slacking on the weight lost thing, and now reality is hitting!!!!!! What is the best way to lose this weight? Help!

cardio exercise is the best way I have found to shed pounds.......combined with a good diet of course...

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I lost 10 pounds the last two weeks before my wedding from just running around. My dress was too big the day of the wedding.

But, I would definitely just exercise each day!!! and drink lots of water!!

Good Luck!!

My dad lost 75 lbs total from weight watchers and no exercise. In the first month he lost 10 lbs so I guess diet and exercise is the key.

you can definitely lose 10 pounds in a short period of time, but as some of the other ladies said, stress and running around those last few weeks will probably just cause it to melt off...

You don't want to look TOO skinny, either !

I've tried them all, and for me the only thing that works is exercise + portion control .. eating a little of whatever I want, but limiting myself. Sort of like Weight Watchers, but I don't go crazy counting the points. I do cut out junk food, sweets and fast food, but don't deny myself a piece of bread once in a while. (Atkins just did NOT work for me like it does others!)

So far its really working and I've lost 11 lbs in a month !

Good Luck!

I am in your same boat--and I am doing Weight Watchers and going to Curves three days a week. So far I have lost a lot of inches and 5.6 lbs in one month. I intend to lose at least 10 more. Just keep thinking that you want to look your all time best walking down the isle and that everyone will be looking at you--that is what keeps me motivated!

If you're really looking for a life change, I would go to www.bodyforlife.com and get the book. I did it for a year and a half and it really, really worked for me.

Whatever you do, remember to do weight training! Weight training is so important. It builds your muscles up so that you burn more fat all the time, not just when you work out. It also builds your muscles so that when you're older you don't lose so much - after like 25 people lose muscle every year, which is one of the reasons why it gets harder to stay fit. Also, your weights need to challenge you. Lots of women don't lift heavy enough weights because they feel like they're gonna turn into muscle women - it's not gonna happen, those women do some very specific things to get like that.

I also eat like 5-6 small meals during the day if I can - a meal being like a yogurt and some cottage cheese - about 250 calories each, a mix of a protein and a healthy carbohydrate, and a vegetable if I can.

I don't eat any white anything (sugar, bread, rice, etc.).

.

Also add weight training 2-3 times a week. Make sure you drink water before and after, so the lactic acid (makes your muscles sore) doesn't build up in your muscles. After you weight train your body will continue to burn calories longer than when you do cardio.

Yes, I think it's possible- I have 2 months left too and only 1 month before my next fitting where the woman told me 'if you're going to lose weight you'd better do it now' so now I have a month. I'm very optimistic!!
