10 worst jobs in america

Ok i just saw this on AOL news, im bored lol...ok they based this on a couple of things, salary, benefits which was a big factor considering many of the jobs you didnt get any benefits so that was a reason why, also room for advancement and even things like BS you have to deal with while at work

10-Motion Picture Projectionists

9-Dishwasher

8-Models, demonstrators & product promoters (obviously not professional supermodels lol)

7-Tour and Travel Guide

6-Waiters and Waitresses

5-Lifeguards

4-Fabric and Apparel patternmakers

3-Ushers, Lobby attendants and ticket takers

2-Counter attendant

1-host and hostess (with this they say if its you dont have alot of experience and dont get into those big restaurants bc otherwise big restaurants do pay $18-21 an hour for a hostess

Don't laugh! In HS I worked at Embassy East which is now the Sandcastle in Franklin Square. I was a waitress and one day the bathroom attendant called out sick. I made like $75 that night just in tips PLUS my regular $50 check. Back in 1988 that was SERIOUS cash for a 15 year old.

thats a very important and challenging job. i could never do what direct care does on a daily basis! they need to be paid more and respected more. it has potential to be an excellent job if it was recognized as necessary. its so ridiculous and not fair!

Omg! Yes! Hmm, maybe I should consider getting a little side job. The best part about working at a catering RH as a kid was I only did it in the summer, so I'd hang with my friends Mon-Thurday and work Fri, Sat and Sun night and earn like a cool $175 and back then at that age, it was good money. They also never bothered with checking you 'working papers'... so being 15 it was awesome.

I wished they paid these people more for the work that they do. I take my hat off to them everyday as I see what they put up with, someone needs to speak up they are taken advantage of.
