be careful with the jewlery...they marked up prices so the 'sale' isnt really a sale at all... Maybe get a really pretty piece of wall art or something that you can use on your wedding day (toasting flutes maybe?)

Hummm did you have your shower yet? Maybe I should have checked your wedding date first, sorry. Anyway I would buy something totally off the wall with it and soon! I'm a knick knack kind a gal and if there was a funky vase or cool wall art, I would buy something like that.
We bought a wine fridge the day after our engagement because we joined the Pindar wine club. I LOVE IT!! It's made so much room in the fridge since he had a shelf built (out of glass) and we put soda and beer in there too.

fire pits are fun to have (we have a portable one that we used EVERY night almost over the summer) but i think you would get more use out of something else...

Make sure you get something that is physically in the store. I mentioned on another thread that my mom ordered me two things back in early december for christmas. One arrived the other hasn't. They charged my moms credit card for the item she hasnt received. She called and they told her that it was shipping that day. It never showed so she called back and they said they would credit her card but charge her a deposit which she said was fine. The next day she gets another charge for the item so she calls up and they said it shipped yesterday. this was two weeks ago and it still hasnt arrived. So today she called again and still no answers, so bottom line it looks like im not getting whatever it is that she ordered. And I never got the first item because she said if i got the first item i would know what the second item was.
oh well.
