Hey everyone - I was hoping you could help me out. I am looking for a reception hall that costs about $100 pp inc tax and gratuity - we can go up to $115. I would prefer it to be on the water but I am open to other places.
I have already looked at the Chateau La Mer and I have fallen in love with the place. My FH though insists we look at other places before we sign a contract, which I really can't disagree with.
So, I was hoping someone could give me some places they have either used or visited, etc. THANKS!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried The Riviera? I think I'm a little biased:)

we could go anywhere from 125 to 200. We have people that we could cut if we found a small room.

im biased also... lol
THe Harbor Club in HUntington One wedding at a time, on the water and will fit into your price range
since noone has usually been there beofre here are some pics of the outside and the reception hall
If you're leaning toward the 125, I'd definitely check out Riviera. It's a beautiful place with great views and their tiered deck is gorgeous. But, IMO it's not a good place for a bigger wedding. They sort of stuff guests in the corners for them to fit and put tables on the dance floor. It's just a weirder set up when there are a lot of people but when you're having a smaller wedding, it's definitely gorgeous. Call Vicky, she's great!
ETA: here's their weddings sites and services page.

We also fell in love with CLM.
Definitely check out some other places though just for peace of mind...that's what we did. We looked at Harbor Club, Riviera, John Anthony's, Land's End, and Carltun on the Sound.
Good luck, and let me know if you have any questions!

If you want a water view, you might also want to try Thatched Cottage in Centerport.
