Yeah but do you notice what they are focusing on? The materialistic part of the wedding. It is completely insane how can they be soo in love when all they care about is impressing people with there wedding? I'm sure there are some that are in love but others makes u think if they are marrying for LOVE OR MONEY....

I watched an episode the other day where they spent about 600k and 460k of that was in bridal attire. WT F????

I was thinking the other day I'd like to see the divorce rates for these weddings... I'm genuinely curious...
I think when you have to struggle together to make it happen it makes your relationship stronger... or breaks it before you get there... either way, it's a good test.

I watched an episode last night or the night before..the one that featured that really attractive African American bride (not sure whether she was Haitian? she has a great figure and pretty cute face!)..their budget for the wedding broke down...
200K reception decor 200K decor 12K bridal gown 148K her diamond earrings! 150K flowers ? 100K a fancy BMW w/ personalized leather seats!! ***!!??!
and her FH - some guy named Darren - hes sitting there the whole time just smiling and saying 'anything she wants!!'...im like, is this guy some investment banker? how can he afford all this?? where is the money coming from?? seriously?!! why cant they just tell us where the $$ is coming from - theres no way an Average American toiling at a 9-5 job for around 50-100K can even afford these type of weddings?!!!

I like your thinking, but I'm pretty sure statistics show that people with more money have lower divorce rates. More money=less problems to fight about.

Honestly I think they over exaggerate on the amount of $ they spend on things. I def saw a girl on there in the same dress my friend wanted to buy (which was $7K).. the show said it was 25K.

just an fyi... platinum weddings tends to 'exaggerate' the costs that go into the wedding..
the band i hired was featured on that show and they told me how they make it so over the top for no reason.
this last show i saw, was a indian wedding.. for 1,000 ppl???? i dont even think i know 1,000 people! lol
