anyone else having trouble picking this station up. I live in Queens, but work in Lindenhurst - which is Suffolk. Even out there all I get is the WEstchester version of 107.1 .... they need to increase their signal or something.

Hey, I work there.
There aren't any plans to change the frequency or signal of The Box (WLIR) at the moment, at least that I've heard about. Sorry. The transmitter is out in Hampton Bays, so it doesn't come in much further west. I feel your pain, though. It was my favorite station too.
But for $60 million, they couldn't really refuse Univision, could they?

I was an LIR/DRE listener for most of my life! I always wished I could work there (if I was a DJ, which of course I'm not LOL).... I was sooo sad when I heard Spanish music on there the other day..... oh well, that's life I suppose!
