Where are all you sept and oct brides going its hurricane season and we arent sure were to go!!
Were going to Antigua, supposedly it's in an area that the hurricanes sort of just miss. Who knows how true that is! We just chose wherever we wanted and got travel insurance.
I would say go to Aruba. It supposedly never gets hit by hurricanes.
As an Aug bride we were concerned too... we did Hawaii, although this year the Pacific had more storms then the Atlantic. But I talked to locals, you want to go to the Southern Islands during typhoon season there. The storms usually go North and get Kaui and Oahu. Maui and the Big Island are usually home free. We did those two islands and had two tropical storms that were supposed to hit while we were there and didn't see one day of rain.
I got married in August also hurricane season, and we did a cruise to the following islands, aruba, curacao, dominica, and st. thomas with 2 days just on the boat. it was wonderful. The good thing is if there was a storm aruba almost never gets hit so we would have just stayed there for extra time. HTH! Good Luck chosing a place to go!!
