'10er crashing: Girls who sent Save the Dates

About how many guests did you have RSVP no when you sent the invites? Did it still come out to the 10-20 percent even though you sent STDs?

i didnt send out STDs to every single guest which i invited 260 we had a total of 210 Yes' I probably sent STDs to 125 guests (remember most are couples).

I didn't send STDs out to everyone either. I think we sent out STDs to about 80 people. We invited 270 and we are at 154 as of today with several RSVPs still missing.

I had a higher percentage than normal of 'no's' because I have so many OOT guests. I invited 22 of my relatives in Australia. Four of them are coming but the other 18 are not (which was expected).

Yes, we sent STD's and still had the average number of no's.

I sent out STD's in Feb, my wedding was in September.

I invited 190? I had 158. And I still had a table of 8 no shows.

Yeah, I sent out STDs and I still had people RSVP no who claimed they couldn't arrange childcare in time. Um, really? Cause you didn't have a year's notice? So I invited around 225 and our final count is dwindling now ... we are at 163.

I only sent out STD's to close friends and Family and the OOT'ers (which I also send hotel info to). Just about everyone came that I sent it to.

We only sent out std's to OOT's and close family but our percentage of no's was over the normal and about 35%.

I sent STDs to all OOT guests and all people on our A list. Since my guest list blows, I'm still missing 83 responses with 2 weeks till the deadline, including most of the OOT guests. Really? You live in FL...you're not coming. Send back the damn card already. But we did get a no from someone who had a STD that said they were going away that weekend...so STDs really don't do anything if the person has no intention to come anyway. They're not going to schedule their life around you. I'm currently at a 35% no rate, and I am expecting that to go significantly higher once the rest of my OOT guests respond. I'm expecting to be closer to 50% no.
