10'er here :-), Buying your veil not from Bridal Salon??

Hey girls! If you didnt buy your veil from your Bridal Salon (Im thinking tri-county or Davids Bridal), when you chose the color did you just pick the same color that your dress was in? (I guess that seems obvious but I know how they say that sometimes the same 'color' differs from fabric to fabric or designer to designer type of thing? Also, what about beading, did you just try to visualize the beading on your dress and match it up?

I just dont want to get it, put it on with my dress and it not go together, ya know

TIA!!!!!

I brought a swatch with me and a picture of me in my dress when I went to Barron's, where we matched it with the closest color they had. This is what I would suggest you do if at all possible. If you don't have a swatch, then I'd just bring a picture of the dress with you and show it to the salespeople.

HTH!

Thank you! Yes, it does help Now, I just found my dress the other day, so I didnt even get to asking them for a swatch yet but anyway, that just comes in the color right, no sample of your beading on it, right? lol...It'd be nice if they gave you a mini of you wedding dress, imagine!

I just knew my dress was white and got a white veil with similar beading to match. I love my veil!!!

Actually, with my swatch the lace and beading was on it as well! I don't know how common that is though. I think my swatch is actually an optional cap sleeve for my dress ... I have no idea what it is but it's the same pattern as the rest of my dress.

I'd wait till your dress comes in and then ask if your bridal salon can hook you up somehow. You have plenty of time to order a veil so don't sweat yet!

just make sure that the veil has the same kind of bead work in it as in your dress!
