Hello!!

I just had a question for you girls= maybe you can give me your advice!
I am having a day wedding in June. My ceremony starts at 1130 am,,,

We are doing pics before the ceremony.

What time should I start getting ready if pics start at 9:30?

I am nervous it will be tight in the AM>.. and Im worried- the timings will be off.
Can you girls tell me what you did .. thanks :)

Are you having all of your girls get ready with you? If so, how many people will be there to do hair/makeup? I started getting ready at 5:30am for a 3:00pm ceremony without pictures beforehand! Bear in mind though that my photographer was coming at 11am and 6 of us had to get ready with two makeup/hair people. I started getting ready myself around 8:30-9amish and was done by 11. I say as long as you give yourself 2 1/2 hours to get ready you will be fine.

the bridal party is huge..11 girls...all of them are getting ready at the glen cove mansion and i will not be with them... i told the makeup and hair people to be there at 5am... the limo is pickin up the girls at 9am...

i want to be at the cbc by 8am with hair makeup complete...so i guess im getting up at 4am...lol!!

Men have it so easy! They can wake up like 15 mins before and be good to go in no time! Waking up early that day is not so bad though. I am so not a morning person but I was totally wired that morning.

Do you have 1 person doing everyone's makeup??

I ask because I had 1 person that did just me and my mom, and then another person for my BM's..
That worked well because everybody could sleep in and arrive later.

AND-make sure for YOU that you have a good 2 hours for hair and makeup. I seriously didn't think my hair and makeup would take so long, and it was like 2 1/2 hours.

I'm really glad I had 2 people getting everyone ready. We were never in a rush and nobody got shortchanged.

My wedding day timeline was the same as yours as far as ceremony at 11:30, photos beforehand. (We were allowed in our venue at 9:30, but started taking photos at 8:30 at the hotel with the people who were there -- that's when we did our 'reveal' with DH.)

I set my alarm for 5:30 so I could shower and hair came at 6 am and makeup at 6:45. I only had two girls in my BP and the two mothers, though, to do. We were all ready by 8:15 or so. Timing worked out perfectly.

My DOC was on the phone trying to wake up DH's best friend, though, that morning... it was so funny. We were all staying at the hotel together, so we didn't really have that much trouble getting everyone together.

Sounds like you pretty much know what your timeline should be. I'm sure it'll all be perfect!

It really depends on how many ppl r getting ready with you....I had 1 person do h&m for me and my bp which was 2 girls...she started at 4:30 to be done by 8:30...I had 2 other ppl doing 4 other h&m and they started at 5am to be done by 8:30. I wanted to be done by 8:30AM and we werent done till about 9AM...we got to the RH by around 9:30AM for pictures before the ceremony.

Also ask you h&m person cause they will know how much time they need for each person and just know when you want to be ready by and then work backwards.
