I am planning a b-party for FSIL and the only day that works is 2 weeks before her wedding. I want to make sure I give all the girls she wants there enough time to save up the pocket cash ect.
Do you think this is to close to the wedding? I think I would be up for it two weekends before mine, but I don't know. Please give your opinions.
FYI It would be dinner and bar hopping in the city so it would take up the whole weekend, or even an entire day.

I don't think it's too close at all! I went to a girlfriend's the weekend before, and it was a huge success! If that's the only time you can get everyone together that she would want there I think that's perfect! It would be different if she wanted snowboarding but you could only get everyone together in the Spring, you know?

My party is planned 2 weeks before the wedding. I think the closer it is to the wedding the better If you know some dates I would def. run it by all your girls now because even with advance notice you still might have people bail out on you. Good luck!

I think if all the girls she wants there live in the same city then it's not a problem at all. But say if any of her bridal party were out of town then I think not so much. That would be too much to ask of someone. To come in 2 weeks before the wedding for a b-party then come back 2 weeks later.

I would just double-check the date with her before you do any serious planning so that she can plan accordingly. She might be planning on doing certain things that weekend and will need to re-arrange her schedule

I think 2 weeks is definitely ok!
FH just went to a bachelor party in Montreal and that was the weekend before the wedding and the bride had her bparty 2 weeks before in Puerto Rico.
