I could have experienced.... January 13, 2001 An Earthquake....
There was an Earthquake in El salvador... many people died 1ml away from where i used to live... a mud slide came down and took many poeple...
It was so sad and debastating...
As i am writing this, I am crying just to remember all the horrible things that happened.... If u have never been into anythng like this, be tahnkful to God.... It is so messed up when the ground moves and u cant even stand up... when u see people dying... when you are starving bc there is no food/water available... I did things that i never though i would do...
Cars destroyed...
At 17:33:34 UTC the 7.6 (later estimated to be 7.7 or 7.9)[1] quake struck with the epicenter at 60 miles (100 km) SW of San Miguel, El Salvador (13.04N 88.66W) at a depth of 60 km. At least 944 people were killed, 5,565 injured, 108,261 houses destroyed — with another 169,692 houses damaged — and more than 150,000 buildings were damaged in El Salvador.[4] About 585 of the deaths were caused by large landslides in Santa Tecla (also known as Nueva San Salvador) and Comasagua. Utilities and roads were damaged by more than 16,000 landslides. Damage and injuries occurred in every department of El Salvador, particularly the departments of La Libertad and Usulután.
So I just wanted to say that You should ALL be thankful for being alive.... Be thankful for all the little things we get everyday....

I'm glad you weren't hurt and you still have such a positive attitude about everything
Yeah... I have gone thru some traumatic things... I was also in a Hurricane (1998) Sad moments too in El Salvador... =-(

Yes Cindy, i remember,,, U have no idea how much I cried too over that.... It made me remember my nightmare too... Butthank God ur FH is good.

Oh wow so sad, but good thing you are ok. I experienced one a few years back in dominican republic but thankfully iit wasn't tod bad. I was sleeping and woke up to the shaking but I thought it was a dream so I didn't freak out.
My parents were in DR when the haiti one occurred they felt everything and were really scared.
