Hi ladies. I have heard from past brides that when they went to see there final flowers they wound up making it larger and thus spending more than originally contracted--- same with photography packages....
THUS---- my question is----- did you spend any last minute money right before or right after the wedding on vendors that you already had contracts with? If so for what and how much more did you spend (if you do not mind me asking)
....hope this makes sense--- trying to be prepared for everything!

Right before:
Spent another hundred or so on flowers. Our contract was only for 16 CP's but we needed 18. We also added in cake flowers.
Right after:
Nothing so far.

Our contract was for 16 CPs...luckily that was all we needed. However, keep in mind, you may need more.
Don't foget the 'little things'- favor tags for example, they can add up
TIPS!!! This can add close to 2k to your budget- make sure you factor those in.
Dont forget to budget for hotel for the day of and/or night.

I actually over estimated the number of CP we needed when we first booked the florist. So we ended paying less than was in the contract.

i had more guests than i expected and needed one extra table (ie: one extra CP). I also added an extra BM & GM so i needed one more bouquet and boutennier.
the only things that cost us money after the wedding were our thank you cards and the albums (we made our own albums for us and our parents)

we added uplighting the week before the wedding.
Definatly factor in anywhere up to 2K for tips ! THey add up very quickly !
Any hotel expenses, shuttle, room, breakfast the next morning

so far: items for bathroom basket, tips, vendor meals (misunderstood and thought that they were included), bagels for the morning of. I'm sure there will be more as the week goes on.

yea- we had 30 tables so had to add more cps ( 25 on contract)

maitre d gets about $3-5 per guest ... so if you have 100 guests, he gets between $300 and $500.
