Over the course of planning, most of us research so many different vendors for each different aspect of the wedding...
My question today is:
Which vendor are you looking forward to working with the most? and why? Why did you pick them over another vendor?
I think i'm mostly looking forward to the photographer. My SIL and sister both didnt like the way their pictures came out. I haven't seen my SIL's pictures from the wedding, and they got married in 2003... thats how much she hates her pictures. I liked my sisters pictures, I guess maybe she had something else in mind for her wedding. Which is the reason why I chose my photographer. He has been doing photojournalism for over 10 years. And on top of that, he is one of the nicest people I have ever spoken to or dealt with. I am really looking forward to my pictures. Also because I am the photographer in my family, and I am looking forward to learning from him!!!
i think either my photog b/c he was awesome and very personable, plus he takes kick a$$ pics or my florist or my makeup artist. sheesh hard one for me lol
I honestly love each and eery one of them (well excpet one guy at my limo company but whatever)... I know this is a cop-out but I honeslty cannot chose.
I love Mike at JT bc he is awesome and has made me and my family, feel like family from DAY 1 I love Tommy Tunes and my MC (Joe E) bc he always remembers me and got married at JT 19 years ago and always remembers to remind me of that... love him I love Rich at Flower Michele, bc he 'got me' and although he wasn't the cheapest, my mom and I clicked with him from minute 1!! I would talk about who I am using for invites but this will be pulled so forget that. but there is nothing but love there also...
I love my RH and the BM Barbara is awesome - When I email her she gets right back to me, I just love hamlet willow creek it is so our style! I am also in LOVE with Jay our photographer from Duet We are so happy with our engagement photo's that we can't wait to see our wedding photos!!!
As of right now I am looking most forward to working with my florist. The flower barn amaze me with just regular flower arrangements I cant wait to see my vision come to life.
I think I am most excited to work with Engineers club! I am obsessed with my RH and the event planners there. i can't wait to start planning the menu and everything.
Wow, I don't think I can chose. I love my photographer (thomas paul), Brian was a pleasure to work with during my epic shoot. I love my DOC, without her I think I would be lost the day of. And my RH!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to eat!!!!
wow... that is a tough one! we love all the vendors we picked so far... I would prob have to say Nick at CLM... but that would mostly be cause I deal with him more oftne and feel like I am most friendly with him! But Nick at Duet was great too for out e-pics!
It would have to be my photographer! This guy is a riot! I hate being in front of the camera, I don't think I photograph well. Well, my cousin used the same photographer. He made me feel so comfortable on her day. When it came time to book a photographer for our wedding.................I didn't even shop around.This guy was quick, funny, made me feel like I was not in front of the camera. He's not just a vendor he became part of the party. He also burned my cousin a DVD on his lap top at the end of the party. We had so many laughs looking at the photos from her day, on the same day it happened, I can't wait for it to be my turn!
I am looking forward to working with our photographer,Lisa from Lisa Marie Photography. She is so awesome, down to earth, personable, and easy to work with. The day we met her we booked not a second thought given!!
ooooooo I hate this question because I LOVE all of my vendors! I can't wait to see how NRC turns out, I love my photog, and I'm dying to hear Code Bleu again!
My BM at my RH is phenomenal! In fact, I love all of the BMs there and they're so great to work with. With my budget tightening me around the neck (no platinum wedding here!) they're letting me reduce my guaranteed minimum and other things! They're just making this so pleasant for me. I picked them over anyone else b/c they are the absolute main vendor!
My photographer, from day one I have loved him, Thomas Paul is just awesome. He does ama-ng work and I love talking to him. I'm waiting to get back our e-pics, but from what he showed me on his camera they looked awesome
Probably my DJ because I'll be anal about what songs should be played and not played..plus lighting to set the right mood in the room...I want to see a lot of good 'action' pics at the reception... I haven't booked a DJ yet so it remains to be seen.
Next would be the Photographer but as i'm having a lot of family and friends doing non-pro pics (including me w/ my digi-cam), I don't think I need to give my photographer too much direction..
