Anyone know where I can get the CHEAPEST 1/2 bottles of wine, more specifically prosecco???
I've heard that I might have to drive into Jersey to get the best prices. Is this true???
Does anyone have any contact information for distributors that you used/heard of/were considering???

Re: 1/2 bottles of wine
We have a grocery store her called albertson's where you can get those been bottles of wine. I'm not sure if they are online or are willing to ship, but you should try it. They are a really large chain. I'm looking to do the same thing and I can get 100 bottles for $150.
You might also try Vons (also a grocery store here that carries them)

I actually priced out half bottles and they were more expensive than some of the full bottles. I went to Cappy's in Valley Stream and got full bottles of pindar for under $5.00 each.

Re: 1/2 bottles of wine
Oh, also.. I forgot to mention.. my sister did wine (not for favors, but provided her own for her wedding) and she went with Trader Joes and was able to find 2 wines for $2 -3 a bottle when she bought in bulk. I forgot which ones there were, but I thought the blush was really yummy! (in fact, one of my FH friend's drank it and thought it was expensive... hehe) One was a Beringer White Zinfandel and the other was a Mountain something Pinot Gregio.
