12 days to go and a few things done [NOW WITH PICS]

Wow girls . . . the last 2-3 weeks are insane. I am so exhausted. Do anything you can in advance. I failed to.

Today I did our OOT bags and bathroom baskets.

I planned on working on seating and placecards but since I had a headacahe I stuck to the easier projects. My MOH was a big help!

Here are some pictures. I think I will be sleeping very little this coming week so I can get things done.

Those came out awesome! Did you use special paper for the notes? I'm in the process of making mine too and wasn't sure if I should use heavier cardstock and if my printer would work with it.

They look wonderful!!!

I wish I could start on OOT bags, but I have no idea how many we're expecting yet... I'm just looking forward to buying those 'wisps' things to put in there because I think it's such a fun idea lol

Did you print your own labels? Tie your own ribbons?

I'm so impressed!!

Yes. I used a heavier cardstock. I have a cheap regular printer and it worked fine. I would stick with 80lb. cardstock. Anything heavier is not the best for a basic inkjet.

Also, if you work in the city, they have very nice cardstock on sale now at Print Icon (same block as paper presentation). I bought a pack for $4 - 60 sheets.

Also. I totally reccommend a cheap paper cutter. I got one at AC Moore for $10 and it saved me. Very hard to cut 80 lb. straight with sissors.
