12th Night Brides

How did/are you creating photo books? I'm trying to decide between Duet and 12th Night. The quality of work is comparable but I'm not sure if I should just pay for photo albums upfront. If I can find a simple solution to getting a finished product from the 12th night photos I may just go with them.

I love the 'flush mounted' books at Duet. Have any of you seen where you can create them yourself?

We are going to wait until after the wedding when we can save a little money to get a nice album and also take the time to carefully research all the options. I didn't see a need to pre-pay for albums because I knew we'd be short on cash at the end of the process and I knew we'd get our proofs right away and those would keep me occupied.

I'm not sure I know what kind of album you're talking about since I didn't meet with Duet but the ones Dom showed us at 12th night were varying degrees of quality and price - the best (and most ) ones had a barely noticeable line between pages instead of a thick binding.

12th night is awesome and I can't wait to work with them - but everyone's Duet pics that I've seen have been amazing, too! You've got good choices!

For parent albums htey said we could order through them regular wedding albums (not the flush or fancy ones) anddevelop and insert the pictures ourselves....Their pricing sounds fair.

I liked the option of paying for it later --after the wedding when I know how much I can really afford. To me it was worth waiting and customizing it the way I wanted instead of getting 'stuck' with a pre apckaged deal

Thanks Ladies. It's helpful to know what others are doing. I hope to confirm with 12th Night tomorrow.
