oh man, that's horrible! My mom told me that half the people still haven't RSVP'd to my shower... including some of my BP, and the date was yesterday, isn't that insane? I'm so pissed... I hope this isn't an indication of my wedding invite RSVPs!

Leslie, I wish I knew!!! Let's explore the possible reasons!!

1. Just plum forgot and lost track of the RSVP date!!
2. Thinks if they don't respond, Debi will take it as a 'no'!!!!!
3. Still trying to figure out if they can afford the trip to Long Island
4. Offended because obviously, they were on the 'B' list, and 'how dare Debi and Fred think they'll come!!!!!' Actually, some family members can not come, so you are being honored with an invitation.
5. Haven't mailed back the RSVP, because, ' Boy, a free stamp, I can put it on that bill I have to mail!!!!!'

you sound like my mom and i on the phone today. 4 of my cousins didn't respond yet and my rsvp was last friday! She called them today and one said she's sorry, she just forgot. The others thought that there verbal reply at the shower was good enough and another said that she still had another three weeks until the wedding to decide? Hellooooo? All of these girls are married and had weddings!!! Hang in there, you will have to make some phone calls, but its not too bad

Wow Mary, I can't believe that! I guess I shouldn't be suprised with my BP then! It's rediculous though... do these people realize what we're going through? Don't they care??
