VERY IMPORTANT TIP: THIS GOES FOR ANY PURCHASES, NOT JUST FOR YOUR GOWN!!!!
Make sure wherever you get your dress, that you leave your deposit on your credit card. DO NOT do cash or check!!!
Reason being: If for some reason your dress comes in stained, dirty, ripped whatever it is...then there is a federal consumer protection law that protects all deposits and payments made with credit cards. This entitles the costumer to receive refunds if the merchandise delivered doesn't live up to what is promised. This only applies to purchases over $50....but it applies for anything you ever purchase or put a deposit on your credit card for.
So ...although I hope that no one has to worry about this...do keep it in mind and protect yourself.

is a great website for all wedding stuff. For dresses in particular, click on wedding dresses and you can search for gowns under different criteria...by designers, silhouettes, necklines, and price range.
Also- you can create your own wedding website..which Im sure some of you have done, but the good thing is....if you are registered, or even if you haven't yet...they have certain partners that will donate to charities...you just have to include your wedding registries on your wedding website . There's so much on this site....you can spend hours exploring...Hope this helps out the newbies!!!
