How far along were you when you went for your first doctors visit? I'm six weeks today and I haven't been to see a doctor yet because I read and many people have told me that a doctor requires 2 missed periods before he/she will see ya. Is my information correct??

Every dr is different. Some will see you right away. Mine didn't so my first visit was at about 9 weeks.

8 weeks was the initial appointment.
BTW: i looked at your profile. Where is that BEAUTIFUL HUT is it in Bora Bora? Did you go there! I would love to know more about this place...sorry OFF the topic

Yes, it was an overwaterbungalow in Bora Bora. We stayed at the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort for our honeymoon in April (we also stayed in Moorea). It was heaven on earth!! Here are more pics if you're interested!
