1st Fitting Tomorrow & No Shoes

i give up! i found a pair i love and went to 3 Macys they don't have them in my size. i called Bridal Reflections and they said as long as i wear a pair with the same heel height it should be fine since they only 'pin' the hem at the first fitting. I should feel reassured but i'm not

Aww - well of course if you can't find 'THE' shoes in your size, just remember it's only a fitting. Listen to the lady who said to find a similar heel. If you think about it you're going to go for a bunch of fittings prior to the actual day - you may find something else that you absolutely love next month. You can always make adjustments next time you go in.

It's true I have done it plenty of times with BM dresses.

My wedding gown cant be ordered cause it is a hem to hollow (or the other way around) so it already comes fitted for the length. I dont plan on buy my shoes now so I will find a pair I have at home with the heel I want to wear.

I changed my shoes 3 times, and then went back to the original ones!!!

It's fine, as long as you have them by the hem shortening, which can be toward the end anyway.....I had 5 fittings, it'll be fine, don't worry!

You can wear a similar size heel or you can tell them to hold off the hem until the next fitting.

thank you all so much - i feel much better now. i was stressing so much and rushing (and i'm sick with a cold etc..) that i broke out with one of those under-the-skin blemishes. i can't believe its already time for the first fitting.
