1st parent teacher conference...

successfully accomplished!!! woohoooooo to all my nyc teachers!!!
26 out of 27 of my parents showed up! it was insaneeeee - 5 mins each parent haha

I'm a parent and I really have to give it to the teachers in NY! I love you and you're soooo underpaid!!!

Tell that to the board of ed!!! if it weren't for teachers, there would be no doctors, lawyers, etc hahaha .... Luckily, I work 8 mins away driving... I cant imagine driving an hr after parent teacher lol my throat hurt towards the end, from talking so much!!!

I am glad it is over but I LOVE getting to talk with the parents. I teach kindergarten so it's hard for the children to communicate things!

My mother teaches 2nd grade, after like 20 years of 4th graders, and my daughter is a 5th grader in her school. She lives in PA and went home after the 5:30-8pm session tonite...so I had to talk to all of my daughter's fabulous teachers, then hang out with her after she was done...it's exhausting for the teachers and you all seem to deal so well!! I appreciate you, even if NYCBOE does not!!
