1st post! Narrowed to 2 DJ's - Tommy Tunes or LI Sound??

Isn't planning fun!! Please Help!! Narrowed the DJ to two. I've seen plenty of opinions about them but would LOVE some help.

We're planning this from out of town so we can't get to a showcase :(

We may do some live elements (violin for ceremony for example, sax for cocktail hour), and a two person DJ/MC team for reception). Could also add a little lighting, but not into turning the wedding into a club scene. I don't need crazy lights =)

Which do you like and why? Did you use them? Which MC did you use. Thanks so so much!

I am absolutely obsessed with LI Sound. Too bad you are OOT, because they have a super nice professional showroom and have excellent showcases! We used them for our eparty and the music was PERFECT beginning to end! Their lighting is top of the line. THeir live percussionist blows our mind he is so good! For MC I would recommend Chris or Mike and Steven is our DJ. We also love their set-up (which we saw in their showroom) of lights & DJ booth.

I was looking at both as well because both have great reviews and are preferred vendors at our RH.

I personally decided on LI Sound. I felt they were more professional and more willing to really customize everything. The uy from TT turned me off when he said that the MC would come out and dance with grandma, etc. For some reason FH liked that, but I am really wery of the 'in your face' types.

LI Sound has many teams and the person we spoke with actually told us which MCs would and would NOT be good for us based on our tastes, so I felt they really understood what we wanted,

I used LI sound and loved them. They played and not played everything I wanted and our dance floor was packed the entire night. Im not a dancer and I was dancing the entire time

LI Sound they keep the party going all night and their MC's are so professional. I went to a wedding in Feb and they were out of this world. Im so glad I booked them.

My cousin use LI sound and her wedding was absolutely amazing! Did not sit at all. the best wedding I ever went to

We used LI Sound. They were amazing! We had Mike as our MC and he was fantastic! I would highly recommend them.

I second Tommy's Tunes!! We met with Tommy and he was so personable and willing to work with our vision and budget. He literally took what we envioned and delivered - He truly made us feel at ease and listened to our all of our requests and painted a true entertainment cloud He even went above and beyond to accomodate our request for a projection screen which were only using for 5-10 minutes and is even finding a bi-lingual DJ for our wedding. Soooo freindly and they value reputation so you know you're getting excellent service. I truly feel as if we established a connection where as with some companies we felt like a transaction. We met with LI Sound as well - but I guess it depends on who you meet. When we went, it strictly felt like a transaction - When I suggested customizing a package - the pricing sheet was always referenced and I felt no sense of customization so as to taylor to our needs. It was very cut and dry - and the person lacked personality. Granted I met with them because I've also heard great things, this was just in my meeting experience.

With that being said Tommy's Tunes is the bomb-diggity

I THIRD TOMMY TUNES!!!

They really were the only ones that made us feel like we were more than a transaction... We were able to customize our own package, extend the times, and even add a percussionist without breaking the bank. Not to mention that they WORK WITH YOUR BUDGET... You have no idea how happy FH and I were when we walked out of there

Just had our final meeting with LI Sound tonight. Scott is our MC and he's been so great to work with. We're def looking forward to dancing our butts off!
