We are going to check out our first RH this weekend! We have an appointment with Giorgios on Saturday. Over the phone they gave me a price of ***pp++ for a friday night in Nov. 2012. Does that seem about right? I am new to this so I dont know if thats high/low or average.
I don't know Giorgio's pricing so I don't know if its a fair price or not. But since you said you were new at this, I wanted to point out something I had to learn the hard way: service fees and tax will up your price per head, big time!
IMO, that does seem a bit high for a friday night wedding. Then again I never been to that RH hall. Look around, make sure u are getting what you want. Good luck!

if you fall in love with a place that's too expensive, consider a Sunday (usually cheaper) in an off-peak month. That's what I did and it saved me tons.

What other places are you considering? IMO Giorgio's is on the high end, so although we might have wanted to look there, knew it was out of our budget.
It's not too high for Giorgio's. Because it's in November, that's why it's so low actually. That is a good price for their facility. In my opinion, I'd rather have a daytime wedding there to save money, during a warmer month. Maybe even September.

love giorgio's but i'm biased since i'm getting married there. that price is really good!

Im hoping it drops quite a bit in person! We ran the numbers and after taxes we really need to be at no more than 100 a person and Giorgios would put us WAY over! I doubt they will drop it to where we need to be, but its worth a shot!
That's about right BUT I just went to a wedding there on Saturday and if I had known about this place before hand, I would have booked here!! ITS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!
You can always negotiate things like what was said above. See if they will lower the price if you maybe take out some of the options for cocktail hour, things like that. Also, see if they offer any discounts for any reason. Some places offer discounts if you or FH are military or civil service. Doesn't hurt to ask.
That seems to be a fair price. But when you go there and talk with them, I'm sure you can get that price down. Good luck. When I went on my appointments I was intimidated but it wasnt as bad. They do work with you on prices.

Im getting married at Giorgio's on a Sunday night and my price is not that far off from your price ...you are getting a very reasonable price and you can prob negogiate a little once your there ...Robert the BM is AMAZING! and Giorgio's is such a stunning place ...you will be surprised that its actually not more per person once you see the venue!
