Re: 1st Vendor Appt
I knew what DJs were on the higher spectrum before I started looking, so I made sure to stick with DJs in my price range, so no sticker shock

Re: 1st Vendor Appt
Ive gotten prices as low as $995 for a dj - im not up to that yet but in the beginning when i was pricing everything at the same time that was 1 of the quotes i got - then i got some for $1999. so it varies good luck though!

Re: 1st Vendor Appt
international sounds. i think they're priced similarly to other companies but i was anticipating the price of dj/mc...after we started talking abt lighting, the total went way up. i didn't thin about lighting in my original estimate/budget.

I kind of new that DJ's were going to be alittle expensive..... but if you have a budget set it should be a little easier to ulimidate certain ones.

Re: 1st Vendor Appt
I had an idea in my head of how much I wanted to spend for a DJ - and I would have been within my range but FH decided that he wanted all of the extra stuff from the DJ that I wasnt aware of (some crazy lighting thing and some other extras), so that kinda blew my budget out of the water. Oh well, I tried...

Re: 1st Vendor Appt
My first vendor appointment was a photographer. I knew how expensive they would be, but it's a totally different thing once you sign a contract and that amount becomes a real price to pay. I know how you feel!
For DJ's, try Tommy's Tunes. They really worked with us on price... we are paying under $1100 for a bunch of stuff.

Seconded!! We were a little surprised when we started calling around, but when we booked with Vinny we actually came in under budget!! Plus he's a great, honest, down to earth guy!

Re: 1st Vendor Appt
my rh has 3 pref vendors for the djs. they also have built in plasmas...only pref vendors can have access to it else we'd have to have the djs bring in their own screens. what to do!?
