My son will be 3 months old on December 23rd. At his doctor's visit today, he measured at 25 inches. I have the snugride (Graco) and I think it mentions to use it only until the baby is 22 pounds/26 inches long. So does this mean that in a few weeks we need to move on to another carseat? What type should we get. Please help. Thanks.
That is what is happening with my daughter, she is turning 4 months and she is too big for the car seat that we have been using with the snap and go but I believe that I read you have to have a convertible car seat especially made for this particular instance.
I had the same problem...you will need to get a convertible. Most people use the Britax Marathon but I got the Evenflo Triumph and really like it. It was also rated high in safety, but just not as expensive as the Britax.
We moved Andrew to the Britax Marathon at 4 months. He looked like a peanut in it, but now he's fine.
Same issure here Gabriella is 13 lbs and 24 inches at 2 months so we have to switch her soon it will be a sad day for mommy
We had to get Caiden a convertible carseat at 4 months too. We got the Evenflo Triumph. We really like it.
We just switched to the Marathon 2 weeks ago, dd was 25 3/4 inches a month ago, and she was hitting her head on the canopy of her carrier. It is a real PITA to go anywhere with her now, as I must haul the stroller out of the car everytime. I can't wait until she can sit up on her own to sit in a shopping cart.
