I'm really nervous about things going how I want them to go. We were practicing our dance last night and we kept fing up, for some reason more than we were months ago. I'm nervous about the makeup person getting back to me and planning out timing. (Twice I called him, he calls back the next day each time, this has been going on since tuesday and we still haven't solidified times). We have to memorize maybe 5 sentences of our vows, we haven't yet. And I know the nervousness is a non productive feeling, to an extent, I have no control if things go as planned. And I just want to be enjoying this time. What can I do to help calm down and enjoy this time?

I was waiting until tomorrow (the day before) to get my nails done. I will def get a massage as well, GOOD CALL! I wish I had taken today off, I'm going into work now, and I think working out would help.

the thing with the dance....
we've been taking lessons for over a year now, so we've been working on this routine for a while. I would be kind of bummed if we effed it up, and I don't like that thought. I should just block it out of my mind and say it'll all be great.

Everything will be perfect, all these feelings are normal. And once you wake up on the morning of your wedding day - you will be on cloud nine and forget all about it. You will have the time of your life!!!
Oh and have lots of wine to relax!

crashing: I think the reason you keep flubbing up the dance is nerves, but the day of your wedding you won't be nervous, muscle memory will kick in. I bet you guys don't even realize you are doing the steps, but you do them all correctly.

T!!!!!!
Your wedding is going to be AMAZING!!!!!! Do not let your nerves get the best of you. I know I am saying this now.. but I will probably be nervous about all the same stuff for my wedding too.
Really though... you will be great, any little detail that might get missed of messed up will not really be noticed by anyone since they don't have any expectation. Do not worry love... relax and have an amazing and wonderful wedding!!
SOOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!! <3 XOXOXO

Oh goodness your day is going to be beautiful! My anxiety set in the night before so maybe its good that youre nervous now so it will all be gone on the big day.
Dont worry about the dance, really! It gives it personality if it isnt perfect. Future hubby and I talked through it just a tad whether it was 'were almost done' or doing forget another promenade. Just smile, listen to the words and their meaning, and love it all up! Only the two of you will know if a step was off, trust me! I cry every time I play the CD in my car of our wedding song. I want a friend to play it at their wedding so we can dance to it!
It will all come together you'll see. Just start relaxing. Go for walks, do non wedding related stuff. Its so important. Call your makeup person and give him a window to call you back. And why do you need to memorize 5 lines? Any person doing a ceremony should be making it easy for you. Have them say it and you then repeat it. No one will know if the mic is in the right place.
And ahhhhhhhhhhh, enjoy it! Its going to be amazing you'll see!

Trust me the day of your Wedding is going to be an amazing day! I am a Control Freak but honestly that day nothing bothered me I wasn't going to let it and because I had so much faith in everyone to do what I paid them to do it all went great. Some things weren't right but it wasn't something that anyone but me and DH noticed. Pass it up to God (or whoever you believe in) for me it is God and have faith!
