2 hairdressers at house on day of wedding? RUDE???
This is a repost. My FSIL wants to use a different hairdresser than me on my wedding day because she didn't like her hair trial. She wants her person to come to my house to do her hair at the same time as mine. Is this rude?
One of my BM's said it was very rude. What do you think?

I voted who cares - unless you are 'close' with the one you are using, I wouldn't sweat it. They are beng paid to provide a service and shouldn't be 'insulted' ... JMO though.

I voted who cares also. These woman are professionals. They are there to do a job...they shouldn't get insulted because one of the girls wanted someone else to do her hair.

If it is bothering you ask her to have her hair done before she comes, because you don't want to add more confusion at your house

I don't think its rude, but space and availability of electrical outlets might become an issue.

Good point about the electrical outlets I'm not even sure which part of the house we'll do hair in. I don't have a mirror in my dining room, but it seems like the most logical place.

I bought a power strip like the day before because I totally forgot about needed multiple outlets (and it was just me getting done).

I voted rude; not to your hairdresser so much but to you it sure is. It's YOUR wedding why can't she live with your hairdresser?
I hope you get to sit in on her trial with this new one or it could be a real hair raising experience.... EVERY pun intended.

I don't necessarily think it is rude - just strange...so I didn't vote. I can understand if she wants to use someone else but to bring an additional person into your home on your wedding morning may make for a crazy situation. I personally think it is just unnecessary. I think she should use who you bring to the home or get her hair done by this person before she comes to your home. I would only find it rude if you give her this option and she still insist on bringing her hair person to your home. Personally, I would say it would make the wedding morning more hectic - you are going to have enough people there and give her the option on what to do (you are going to have your family, hair and makeup people, florsit deliveries, photographers, videographers, etc. in and out). You know some people just don't think before they ask and not sure if she is married or been in bridal parties before but maybe she doesn't realize that isn't what people normally do and why it would make the morning more hectic.
I know too some hair dressers require a lot of room to do their work too - so it isn't like she is adding one more person.
