2 honeymoons???

Can I even DREAM of it....so, yesterday FH and I played hookey from work and went to my uncles house to drink frozen mojitos and swim in the pool (it was GREAT) while we were there, he asked me if I wanted to take a quick trip 'someplace tropical' right after the wedding, before our 'real' honeymoon to Germany in June...

I am so tempted, but part of me feels it's a little greedy and wasteful...but then a few days in the sun and ocean would be HEAVEN....

would you girls consider this if your FH brought it up, or just be practical and go to a B&B or something like that nearby(our original plan)

definitely! you are gonna want some alone time with your new husband and some time to unwind and relax after all the stressful wedding planning.

even if you do a short trip, i think it would be worth it!

Hey if you got the $$$$ i say go for it-- we all deserve some relaxation

I would say def do it if you've got the $$$!! Even a simple B&B would give you the time alone with your new hubby to relax. You're gonna need something to destress you after all this planning anyway!!

You could even wait unitl like march and then all the cruise prices drop WAYYY down. When FH got home from 'over there' we book a cruise 7 days to the southern caribbean at RIDICULOUSLY low prices because it was 2 weeks away.

If someone say's vacation, I am there!
Go for it, you won't regret it.

Go for it girl!!! If the money is there, do it!!! I'm not sure what you're feelings are on having kids, but this is the point in your life where it should be just about the 2 of you and when you will be able to do things like that! Do it!!

I just went to Puerto Rico recently. I would definitely recommend it. It is very beautiful and more affordable than many other tropical destinations. FM if you have any questions.
