I just got my shoes. originally I ordered 2 ', but the heel looks frumpy, and the store had 2 1/5 ', so I bought both and need to decide within 2 weeks which pair to keep.
I normally wear 2 ' or lower. I have a couple of 3' which crucify me. I am leaning towards the 2 1/5 ' for style, but am worried I'll be uncomfortable. Howver, these shoes are dance shoes, and are designed for comfort, so I just don't know what to do
Anyone else in this dilema? Any advice?
FH suggested buying a pair of street 2 1/2 ' shoes and wearing them for the next 2 weeks. What do you think?

If you are not used to bigger than a 2' than don't do it!!!! You will barely see the shoes.
I always where big shoes (due to the giant I married) and my wedding shoes were about 3'. Even though I am used to it by the end of the night my feet hurt a bit.
It is a long day you want to be comfy

Pick shoes that you will be comfortable in. I danced all night at our wedding and had to take off the shoes because they were giving me blisters.

Jen LOL I'm also marrying a giant ............. I'm getting 3 1/2 inch heels, but don't do any higher than you can handle or you'll regret it, noone will notice the heel. I'm used to 4 inch so I'm good, but if you're not used to it, you'll suffer.

I can wear 5' or even 6'..

I'd keep the 2 since you may be more comfy with them, however, no matter what you decide, walk around in your shoes at home starting 3 weeks prior to break them in

Stay with what you are most comfortable with. My feet hurt for two days after the wedding because I wore heels higher then I was used to.

I can tell speak from years of wearing high shoes..they can hurt you feet if you not used to them. I would wear whatever is most comfy. If you want to wear the higher ones...what about changing into something for the reception? I too plan on wearing 3' shoes...but i'm going to get platform sandles to wear while dancing. I found a cute pair like this: In white of course :)

LOL! Like I said I have a lot of practice. If I buy high shoes for the cermony I don't want my dress to drag on the floor. Platforms are more comfy then heels. I'm only 5'0 but always wear high shoes..so if some asks I say I'm 5'3 LOL. FH is 6'1
