2 Maitre-Ds and 2 Bridal Attendants (?!?!?!? PLEASE HELP!!!)

Hi Ladies!!!

I need your help!

I cannot seem to get a clear answer from people who had their wedding at my hall, so I am asking all my 07 brides for help. FEEL FREE to FM me if you don't want to post.

I am having 210 people at my reception, and there will be two maitre-s's and two Bridal Attendants.

If you were me, what would you tip each person?

what do you plan on doing?

PLEASE HELP as I have no clue!

Wow, I've never heard of TWO maitre 'ds!!! I would still follow the general rule of $3-5 per person and let them split it.

As for the two bridal attendants, I would tip them both. You can do $50 per person or $100 per person or whatever you like. HTH.

Thanks - that's my question.... would you guys pay twice the money or take what you would give 1 maitre-D and split it in half....

I would still give the same amount of money and let them split it or you split it and give half to each.

They are NOT doing double the work (or rather, the same amount of work as if there were only 1 maitre'd). They are SHARING the maitre'd duties, so they should share the tip.

hey , double check that , i think its 2 bridal attendants & one MD's no ?

I was supposed to have 2 Bridal attendants and 2 Maitre D's... I ended up haveing one of each for some reason....I gave her 50 and I gave him $350 and the BM $200. I had about 130 people.

O NO! I didn't even think of the BM. Will she be at the reception to accept a tip? are we supposed to tip her too?

I am having 3 Maitre D's and 2 bridal attendants I guess because we are having 300+ ppl. I was told by our banquet manager to still do the $3-$5 per person and the Maitre D's will split it so that's what I'm doing.....I plan to give each Bridal attendant $50 each. As of now, I don't plan on tipping my Banquet Manager.
