2 Monitors???????

2 Monitors???????

Does anyone have to use 2 monitors at work>?>? (or at home)?

My office has a new scanning system, so one monitor has this scanning program on it, the other one has our regular stuff on it..(hard to explain) BUt my boss got us all 19 inch monitors...1 is a regular kind of monitor, the other is Flat Screen..the Flat screen is crystal clear in comparison to the other one...ANYWAYS...to constantly look back and forth is driving me NUTS...giveing me headaches every day...and I feel liek I squint all the time because one is so clear and the other one is so dull...I went to the eye doc who says my vision is fine, no need for glasses, but he does not think that is a Healthy thing either...

anyone else have opinions or in the same boat??

it sounds like you have 2 computers as well?

if it bothers you...you can get a switch that is able to switch the two computers...on one moniter...

DH is a web developer and his computer at work is hooked up to two monitors to give him more workspace. He likes it b/c he can keep his 'tools' on one screen and work on the other. It is one computer with two video cards and two monitors.

yes, mine is 1 computer, 2 monitors and video cards, side by side...we have this Imageright scanning system in one monitor (it works as our FILE) and the other monitor has the applications we work in...its so aggravating to look back and forth..it might be because the screens are so different..same size but one is the NICE FLAT screen ones...the other one is just regular....either way, it bothers my eyes....theres no way to change this
