2 monthe left. EXTREMELY STRESSED OUT

I think I am going to have a nervous breakdown bc there is so much left to do.

I'm going to have a lot of international and OOT guests. I feel responsible to spend time and plan activities for them. My to do list is a foot long and keeps growing and growing.

Fiance keeps saying, 'we are all done.' WE ARE NOT DONE!!!!!

RELAX and take a DEEP BREATH!

You will get everything done.

Make a list and prioritize -- planning activities for your OOT guests is NOT your responsibility, btw. It would be nice if you let them know what there is to do in the area, but you do not need to plan things for them! (Most people will want to do their own thing, anyway)

It'll get done - just don't stress!

Take ONE THING at a time! You WILL be able to do it!

As for OOT guests, I gotta tell you....it will be very hard those last few days to hang out with each and everyone of them. What I did with my OOT friends, I got them together, gave them a train schedule....and instead of feeling guilty for not being able to hangout with them...they became friends and headed into NYC to do their own sight-seeing! They were busy alll day and I got to see them later that nite.

Just prioritize who you can hang out with and such, and remember that there will be last minute things that need to be done. Just remember, you're marrying in TWO MONTHS!!

I kind of know how you feel... I'm getting married in Austria and have family flying in from NJ and of course I need to plan everything for them...spent a month looking for cheap flights, now I'm trying to figure out what they want to do regarding transportation, hotels, etc. Really extra stress. Buuut...even though everyone says they aren't our responsibility...I feel like if they are traveling all this way and paying tongs of money just to get here, I might aswell help out with what I can.

But definately make a list..and prioritze. And get your BP to help out with whatever last minute things you need to get done...maybe they can even help out with planning activities for your guests.

I do feel very responsible for entertaining them.

Another layer of stress is that I think some of my OOT friends expect so stay with me before the wedding. We can't host EVERYONE.

They are traveling to NY to attend my wedding. I have to spend time with them. Sigh.

Sweetie, I know you feel obligated but this is a big deal for you. you need alone time too. They will all be OK. You honestly should not be hosting ANYONE in my opinion but I do understand.

Is there anyone in your family that can serve as a liaison between you and your guests so that YOU don't have to be in charge of giving them bad news? Your MOH, your mom?

Can anyone help you out at all? Can you take a day off of work?

It will be OK. One step at a time!

Relax....everything will be fine. I'm sure your OOT guests will understand that you will be very preoccupied with wedding preparations right before your wedding. Maybe other family memebers can help out and entertain them.

heres a thought..

a friend of mine got married in virginia.. she had people from NY, England, Cali and Lousiana come to her wedding...

as far as entertaining guests they reserved space at a pub the night before and hosted a brunch the day after...
this was alll done at the hotel they were staying at... so thats when they saw everyone...

maybe do something to that effect??

she also had a wedding website that gave info about what to see, do and how far major cities were from the RH..
