2 photographers

Do most photographers work with two people? Do I need two? What d'ya think?

I am SO cheap and was DEAD SET against having two photographers....

BUT I changed my mind when I thought about it more.. with one I would be sacrificing either traditional posed shots and photojournalistic shots.

Everyone is very PRO-photojournalistic, whichI am too, but I dont want to not have really good portrait-type pictures at the end of the night. Its hard to get both from one.

I definitely see your point!! I want a nice mix of photojournalistic as well as posed. Part of me thinks 2 photogs will get better angles and more shots than having just one.

Can I ask who you are using, FM me if you'd prefer...!

I guess you could have one - most packages have two...but if you are having a small amount of people two wouldn't be necessary...it is all matter of what you feel. How important are pictures to you?

We're aiming for under 200. I think the photographer is one of my most important vendors.

i'm having just one. budget constraints force me to settle with only 1 photographer. but i love my photog's work...and she does a FABULOUS mix of both. (chrissyandricky's community albums show that!)

i think it can depend on the photographer.

I had 2, but I didn't have a video. I was worth it to me.

I too wanted really great photojournalistic pics as well as awesome posed ones so we decided to go with 2 photogs. A friend of mine made me realize another pro of having 2- this way when you are walking down the aisle they can capture from both the front and the back. I never thought about that but when I saw her pictures I loved the idea of having both sets of pictures.

Im using 12th night. Adding a 2nd photog with them was VERY affordable!
