2 questions....

I have 2 questions to ask you girls

1. are you buying gifts for your parents? if yes what are you getting? should the gifts be a small something or a big gift?

2. Do we need to send invitations for the rehersal dinner?

Thanks, Nicole

Re: 2 questions....

We bought our parents silver frames that are inscribed with 'Our Children' on top and our names on the bottom. Then, when we get the pictures, we'll give them a photo to put in the frame!

We sent invites to people for our RD. BUt I went and made them on the computer. As far as gifts for parents we brought the fathers watches and the mothers ( well my mother) a nice neckalce and MIL some candleholders.

We will be sending invites to the rehersal nothing outrageous ...just something simple...and our gifts that day will be something small for our parents ...and then after we got both sets albums and dvds of the wedding

This is exactly what we're doing too!

I have to say that for the RD we'll be doing invites as well.

The best site i've found is vista print - they are SOOOOOOOOOOOoo cheap and if you sign up for their email list - you get a new coupon or sale email almost 3 times a week! I think it'll cost you 15.00 (tops) for 25 postcards and your RD invite can totally be on a postcard!!!

I used them for my MOH's bridal shower invites last year and everyone loved them!!!

Re: 2 questions....

Parent gifts - Both of our parents contributed generously to the wedding, though we paid for most of it ourselves. We got our fathers engraved swiss army knives, our mothers embroidered handkerchiefs, and also got each couple a digital picture frame.

We are sending invites for the RD and I think you should. If it's very small (just the BP and parents), then you could get away without them... I would still send them, though.
