2 Questions RE: Makeup pricing - Traveling Fees and Gratuity

I want to get an idea of:

Who is paying traveling costs and how much. What is the location they are traveling from/to for this fee?

Any makeup artists who are adding a set gratuity (ie - 20%) to their prices?

I guess she means the makeup artist traveling to where you are getting ready instead of going to the makeup artist.

my makeup artist said there is a $50 travel fee east of smithtown i think but each one is different

my MUA already included the cost of travel in her price. But I wouldn't have gone to her anyway on my wedding, she would have had to come to me.
She is $300 for hair & makeup

i'm paying for my hair/MUA's traveling cost - which is how much a cab would cost her from Astoria to my house and back. sucks but i was happy w/ her and if i went looking elsewhere - that trial would've been her traveling cost.

and no, she did not add gratuity - that is up to my discretion.
