2 things off my list..but still ready to puke.

I just ordered my BM dresses from netbride.com and I'm reading posts how some of the September girls are already getting their BM dresses in!

I just purchased my tiara, but now I'm second guessing it. And at the price I just paid...I can't afford to do that.

I'm so nervous about both things; the BM dresses and my tiara.

I'm sure the bridesmaid dresses will work out - I've heard nothing but good stuff about net bride!!!!!! and if you don't like the tiara can you return it???

what kind of dress did you order. post a pic, please.
dont worry about the tiara -if you ordered it b/c you loved it this just maybe nerves second guessing yourself.

I'm pretty sure netbride will get them to me early...that seems to be the norm for them.

As for the tiara, it takes 2 months for it to be made and I already put down half of the cost for a deposit. I like it, I'm just afraid I might see another one I like better.

So stop looking! I did the same thing, and finally ordered on on ebay without seeing it in person. I was so worried, but when it came I was so happy. There is a reason you picked both, so have faith in yourself! Everything will be beautiful!

I went to a bridal salon with that tiara in mind. They didn't have it in stock, but we decided that it had too much height for the way that I'm going to be wearing my hair. I still love that tiara though! Siman Tu has gorgeous stuff!!!!

I ended up with a Nelson D'Leon (which I was looking for before I stumbled upon the Siman Tu), but unfortunately I can't find a pic. (The ones at his website are blurry. )

Jenny - I think you are just having a moment. Having had one of these myself not too long ago, I can sympathize. I think we all have these moments when we start to second guess everything and then start to hyperventilate and then start to have panick attacks.... It will be better soon! Don't worry!

I think this might make you feel better about your BM dresses - B/c 2 of my girls just had babies and 2 others are on weight watchers, I told all the girls to buy floor-length navy dresses that would be appropriate for a black tie optional wedding. I gave them shawls to tie the look together and so they had a color swatch to help them pick similar navys. Off-the-rack was fine with me. Well, there are NO nice navy dresses in the stores this year!!!! So all my girls ended up buying BM dresses anyway! However, one of my friends REFUSES to go shopping (she's had a year and a half) and since my wedding's July 4th, by the time she gets around to it, I don't think she'll even be able to rush order something. whatever, her funeral! If she ends up having to buy a billion dollar dress from some designer, that's what she'll have to do... So you are definitely not doing too bad in the BM dress dept!

My wedding is September 6th and I haven't ordered the bm dresses yet. They should be ordered by the end of the week.

Jenny, I am just about to order my BM dresses from netbride and my wedding is on Sept 28!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! My problem is when I see something I like or even love, I always feel like I hav to look around some more because I might find something better later on! What happens is you see 50 million different things and end up with nothing lessthan 6 months before the wedding!!!! Very very bad! So it's a good thing if you like something, spend a reasonable amount of time thinking aobut it, like a few days, maybe a week...but not 14 months! I'm just realizing that now.

Who's doing the alterations on your BM dresses? Anyone you could recommend?

cutsabutton- you sound just like me. I was having the girls order a dress from bridalmarketplace and now I am not sure, oh well I guess they will be fine. My friend has used a seamstress in Williston Park I will find out the address.
