So I have a very thin band on my engagement ring that is made of pave diamonds. I have been thinking about and once tried on two thin pave wedding bands. My friend suggested that I could wear one on each side of the ring vs. one band. It did look pretty but I didn't know if it takes away any significance. Anyone else doing that or heard of that???

I have seen people do that...and I love it! I would do it if we could afford it!

My wedding band w/ e-ring:
And a surprise from FH! Eternity bands to where everyday so I can save my more delicate band from wear and tear.

I love the look of 2 eternity bands. That seems to be upcoming and popular these days.

Re: 2 Wedding Bands
I have 2---they are different--but look good on either side of my ering. one if my great grandma's wedding ring that my mother gave me and the other FH bought for me. I liek the idea of having an older, sentimental one, and one from FH that signifies starting our life together. Basically- what i'm attempting to say is that it's up to you! whatever you like...do it!

Re: 2 Wedding Bands
That is what I did-they are the same ring, just welded together underneath to make them one

Re: 2 Wedding Bands
you can always do one band now and another on an anniv (1st, 5th, whatever) if you are worried that 2 wedding bands wont have as much meaning.

Re: 2 Wedding Bands
I'm actually going to do that, I'm using my grandmothers wedding band from the 1940's but its very thin so FH is buying me another wedding band so I can wear one on either side.

Re: 2 Wedding Bands
I think that it would look nice. My e-ring has a very thin micro pave band and I've thought about getting two bands the same size to wear on each side.... it really all depends on what you like since you'll be the one wearing it!

I gave the BM both my rings-ering and wedding band already put together as a set-so when DH put them on I didnt have to take them off
