2 weeks until DISNEY WORLD! Rehitching Info!

Christy we are going on September 7th for a week staying at The All Star Music Resort
You guys are staying at The Dolphin right
Please tell me some must to do's

Actually, we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. But I have stayed at the swan...

As far as must do's...
See the WISHES fireworks show at the magic kingdom, as well as their spectromagic parade

At Epcot,
See the illuminations show, it is wonderful and also, try some of their restaurants. If you are daring, go on mission space.

At MGM...sign up for the fantasmic dinner package, have dinner then get good seats to the fantasmic show. It is incredible!

FH & I are going September 5-12th...We are doing the 4 days in Disney & then 3 days on Disney Wonder...We are staying in Port Orleans Riverside...I am so excited

I was engaged at disney too! In cinderellas rose garden.

i'm so jealous! my family has been talking about taking a big family vacation there for like two years now. it looks like we may go next march but i can't wait that long! have a super time and say hi to pluto for me if you see him

If concierge is available, we've paid anywhere between $30-55 add'l per night. They serve continental breakfast, snacks, afternoon tea, evening appetizers with wine and desert. We enjoy it and think it's totally worth it. They will also confirm & make PS for you, etc.

Flag family - one of the 'Rangers' tell you all about the lodge and then you walk up to the roof and raise the flags that fly over the lodge. It's jst something special and different that not everyone gets to do. It is early in the AM and usually books fast. But again, doesn't hurt to ask.

That sounds like so much fun!

Make a dinner reservation at the Californai Grill for about an hour before fireworks..it's SOOO romantic.

ETA: oooh..some of you will get to go on the new stitch ride!!!! I'm a passholder, but I cnalt exactly fly down there for passholder previews, though I wish I could!

When you check into your disney resort hotel find out what time the fireworks are at MK, then book dinner 1/2 hour before the show at Cinderalla's castle for one of your nights. Try to get a seat by the window. It is the BEST view of the firewoks show you can get & the food was actually pretty good. A bit over priced but quite tasty!!

ALSO: ( and in addition to all the stuff mentioned earlier)...
Must do's

-go to Polynesian resort & rent Mouse boats
-eat a burger at House of Blues....you won't be sorry
-Space Mountain (at least once)
-I don't know if you guys are into this, but when we went to Epcot we took our pic & they put it in the rock when you first enter Epcot. It's kinda silly, but when we went back...e found our pic... it was kinda cool!
-Definately make time to check out The World part of Epcot. They put on some great performances and the food & hops there are great. DH fav is Mexico..... you go on this cool little 'river ride' & the inside is amazing.

Go on as many rides as possible.... the lines should not be too long. If they are GET FAST PASS..... totally worth it. Oh and Disney MGM & Animal Kingdom are fabulous... I particularly liked nimal Kingdom.. The Safari was wicked!

The 'rehitching' takes place at an ice cream social in epcot! It should be funny!

Also, the day the DH and I got engaged we had our pic taken at epcot and mounted on the stone wall. We love to visit it!

I am getting so excited now!!!!!!!!!
