2 year anniversary--where to go?

We're gonna do a horse drawn carriage in central park, but I need ideas for dinner.

I was thinking of serendipity. Any other suggestions in NYC?

mmmmm Serendipity!

Well what are you in the mood for? Fancy schmancy? What kind of cuisine?

Not too fancy. Like Serendipitiy's price range is perfect. We've already spent enough $$ this summer moving.

not sure when you are planning on going but Restaurant Week has been extended until Sept. 6 so you can pretty have your choice of great restaurants and just choose from the pre-fixed menus.

here is the list of restaurants that are participating:

yes i would def recommend trying restaurant week (if you can get a reservation)

asia de cuba is one of my fave restaurants in NYC and they have the most delicious desserts EVER - its call the bay of pigs

you cant go wrong with most of the restaurants that offer the discount

ooooo if you want dessert, check out Max Brenners, Chocolate By the Bald Man. They have AMAZING desserts! There is regular food there too but I mostly go there for the desserts. It's a fav or me and my MOH. There was a location near the village which I think might have closed but there is one in Union Square (that's the one I normally go to).

EDIT: I suggest the melting marshmelloew crepe! They even give you a vial of hot melted chocolate to pour over it!

I love serendipity for dessert but there is always an insane wait! Don't know if you want to chance it? Also, never been there for dinner but have eaten lunch there and I didn't love the food...just the desserts!

Cafe Loup is my favorite french restaurant in the city if you are into french. pretty intimate too.
Cafe havana is awesome for cuban and mojitos but the space is small and sometimes the music is kind of loud.

what kind of food do you like?

Blue water grill , the food is amazing there, there is also pome frites just to go for fries, Sushi samba, carmines, Rosa Mexicana or any of B.R guest rests http://www.brguestrestaurants.com/ and if u are adventurous try Ethiopian.

Can u guys suggest any good restaurants in the Times Square area? No chains please and I will consider as far west as 9th ave. Cause I know there's a lot of good restaurants there.

So me and FH had the best anniversary!!! We spent the whole day in the city. We checked out pop-tart world, I indulged him and let him go to Nintendo World.
We had a carriage ride in Central Park, we ate dinner at the Water Club which was one of the restaurants on the list for restaurant week, so thank you girls!!! We saw Mary Poppins too! It was such a great day!
